I am writing to invite you to become involved with the Queen’s University Alternative Assets Fund (QUAAF).

QUAAF is the only student run portfolio of hedge funds in Canada, managed entirely by Smith MBA and Masters of Finance students. Now in its fourth year of operation, the fund manages almost CAD$500,000 of endowed funds. QUAAF provides students with the industry experience of running a portfolio of alternative investments while also teaching them how to manage an organization. Through the engagement of alumni, current members and industry professionals, QUAAF has established itself as an effective educational platform unique to Queen’s University.
